A Salute

felt quite a lot better today, partly caus i finally finished my e-learning stuff... there was a deadline by fri, n so many ppl were using it until it was like damn slow... did till 2.35, can see the whole msn almost all frm SP...

was almost late for CYA again, though i live the closest... haha, ironic thing is when i go airport from SP im usually one of the earliest...

this is like the 2nd last week of duty for Elektra, our(friday) most senior rover... one of my fav seniors too caus, i guess she's quite cool but nice at the same time... used to be a bit like zhou botong, caus quite hard to find her sumtimes...

anyway, we held like a mini party for her for an hour plus.... actually broke all the rules of not exceeding breaks and not going for breaks together, but juz for today, who cares? while eating whatever food we managed to get along the way, we listened to some of her most interesting experiences in 3 yrs there...

luckily when we got back, non of the CSO's asked us where we went or anyth... even got some compliments from them about doing our job well!

met this australian guy, he asked me for the nearest toilet... he had this weird way of talking, v. vulgar, but supposed to b a compliment... he asked me what i was studying n stuff, i told him aeronautical engg, his reply was "fuck-u?"... imagine saying "fuck-u?" in a "oh really?" tone of voice... tt's wat it sounded like...haiz... australians...

afterwards took a train back home for the 1st time, juz 2 accompany them.... got reward with big waves afterwards....i think most of them r staying on... tt's good.

oh, i juz spoke to soon kee, n realised he was working at T1 yest night... didn't see him... wasted...

anyone have any idea where yuhua CC is? nope? neither did i... i spent 45 mins walking around from jurong east station to chinese gardens looking for it... all caus i volunteered to help some Wishing Tree Project....

anyway eventually found it... it was at the jurong east swimming complex.... smth like wild wild wet, but cheaper...

was actually assigned to ushering, but it was so boring caus everyone knew where to go, so looked for smth more useful to do...

this wishing tree project, some performances... there was sheikh haikel<--how u spell it?, some MP's, 97.2 dj's n stuff like tt... so dark, n the air con so nice, i nearly fell asleep...

afterward on the train back, got to talk a bit with some of my CYA fri frenz... some r not continuing on after the 6 months..... quite sadded caus, being with fri ppl reminds me of my old class 4e2...

had thought tt mayb everyone on friday would stay on... wishful thinking mayb...

btw, i added a new mtv, all the way at the bottom, it's mai ya tang by jay chou... pretty funny, should cheer things up a bit...

King Kong the guai lan monster...

watched King Kong with my fri CYA frenz at Cathay Orchard yest... n my thought's after the show, is tt King Kong is pretty guai lan...watch the show n you'll noe what i mean...he's not the only guai lan character in the show though... worse is the director, aka Jack Black...

it's a v. good movie, well worth watching, though you'll have to wait at least an hour before actually seeing Kong himself... the island on which he lives, aka Skull Island makes Jurassic Park look like a play ground in comparison... it's 3 hours, so well worth your money, but not so gd for your bladder, so rmbr to take a pee b4 watching...

after the movie, went to Taka to meet Bernice who didn't join us for the movie... ate at yoshinoya... then went upstairs to take some photos... there was some christmas decorations and stuff and loads of ppl, more like a sunday night than a weekday...

went out with wq n ql ... looking for a fila warehouse... inside pretty crap...

then went east point to eat... play arcade a bit... n see the cute dogs n cute gals at pet safari...played at tampines a bit then go back....actually more than that... but, mayb wq blog got put, so go there n see?

they showing lord of the rings: fellowship of the rings now... think it's my favourite of the 3... v. plain n straightforward... sumtimes u dun really rmbr how much u like ur fav movies until u watch it again...

Top Class-Bottom Conduct

yeah! next week is last week of school! 2 more practical tests n 1 more theory test this sem... finished my maths test on thursday... quite easy, shld get full... only more scared of the higher maths, CEM...

now star world showing Aliens 2... tt day showing Terminator 2... haha, all old shows... but as my fren put it, this were shows we were born n bred on...classics...

anyway, recently posted on the MM school notice board is this...

it's an honour roll list, top 5% from the DARE course... and guess what, 7 out of the 10 names are from our class! haha, we own them... quite ironic, caus of my class reputation 4 being v. rowdy... but i guess tt givs us more character?

and the 2 ppl from hai sing, are both in the list!tt's jack queck if u wanna noe... from e4...do hai sing proud...

didn't see any hsc ppl today at airport, but saw hui yi at Tanah Merah station, so qiao... also met daryl's cousin, (the quite fat one), while in transit.... think she finish O level this yr ah...


got a good feedback form from a passenger today... quite rare to get... caus she couldn't find her husband n i helped out a bit... they offered me a tip, but not allowed, anyway i dun think i would take it even if allowed...

juz earlier before going in, we were saying how rare it is to get in...

now counter's hav 2 CYA's each... better for us i think, so won't so sian... time passes faster also...
bought this total 90 football from the nike store in transit... the ppl in the store were v. nice... actually no 10% off, but they sort of bought on my behalf using their pass, so there was discount... thank you! they even offered to pump it up for me...

most interesting part of this friday's CYA was the last part, when we were heading back to the lost and found counter... my classmates always ask me if i see japanese schoolgirls during my duty...

so far nothing, but today, there was a whole field of blue uniforms sitting on the ground, taking pictures etc... wow, when i told the other guys, they rushed out to take a look...too bad, couldn't get pics...

The Day Peter Scored

arranged with wq n ql to meet at tampines S11 to catch the liverpool vs wigan match at 8...

got there early n played a few rounds of initial D... challenged 2 of the guys there... quite chiina, but also quite friendly, shook hands with them at end of match... both times played the long n v. twisty Shommaru Pass...my favourite...

lost both... was right on their tails for both matches, but never really had many chances for overtaking...

wait for wq to play finish VS4 then went to S11... by then quite hungry le...

bought our stuff n sat for the match...around us the tables were mostly guys...

never watch match with other ppl b4... most of the time watching live matches means waking up at unearthly hours, by myself, trying not to b too noisy else, i'll wake my dad n get an earful...

ql was saying smth like how crouch would finally score tonite... n he was right! in the 19 min crouch shot a typically awkward crouch shot, n for the first time, the ball went in!!! there was instant applause from the crowd all round...

we were joking whether crouch would take off his shirt in celebration... eww... imagine that...

many funny stuff that night, jokes bout the ref being biased against Chimbonda, Cisse's black face at not starting the match, wondering y Hyppia was still smiling while he was being booked n other stuff...

tt was fun...

CYA today, eventful as normal....haha, contradictory statement...

on the way to the pass office, spotted John Kim n a gal... called out to him 2 or 3 times, but he's too engrossed liao... actually got the gals'(pretty pretty) attention before getting his...

he was doing event manager for the airport christmas thingy... 4 gals under his charge....song bo... gd pay summore, but working 17 hours a day for 5 days liao...

got replacement CYA today also, amanda... quite chio also...

while walking into transit with my duty partner, spotted a not v. tall, not v. convincing Santa (John) with an "elf" helper... he look damn funny... hat, beard, bulging stomach...my partner couldn't help but laugh...wanted to take a pic of him...

super busy first hour half, then went to meet my dad for my break, since not supposed to meet the other's liao to play safe... juz nice John came from behind... so ended up going for break with my dad n John... lol, weird combi...

then, back to business...

met a japanese filmmaker n escorted him round terminal one... wanted to ask what kind of show he make? my class has this open joke bout our thermofluids lecturer being a "Blue" film maker...
something tt he himself helped to encourage...

also saw these 2 japanese or korean ppl... one guy one gal... both dressed until v. punky.... looks like they could b from a band or smth... reminds me of "Do As Infinity".....
lot of projects too next week.... but for tml... juz relax... wonder what to do?
