5th Squad

actually the title shld b called 5th Batch, after the batch we're training at the airport, but, i tot 5th squad sounded cooler...so there...

Monday

Met up with the rest of the seniors frm 4th batch, n we spent the day with the CSO's, following the 5th batch as they went about their training.... later took them around for a short trip around terminal 1...

On the way back, boarded teh same bus as one of the trainer CSO's, Ana Maria, she bit intimidating but no choice, got to gather my courage n tok to her.... tok bit bout Mp3 players n stuff... quite relieved when she dropped at the edge of pasir ris there...

met jas at white sands for lunch, he showed me his notebook thingy for the first time, quite cool, looks v. much like a lap top.... later he came over to see the dog, then went to the gym with him...

stamina really sux... ran pretty slow, yet barely managed to complete 1 km.... besides tt though, realised going gym pretty fun... no one was there, so no one else looking, n the room quite small too...

TUE

no CYA today, juz slack at home..... Dennis called, said he wanted to pick up some notes.... he came with his rather big fren jonathan who also going SP... both of them happen to know my claassmate Shum Wai... spore's pretty small...

recieved the e-mail frm SIA engineering, have a interview on thursday...

Wed

wanted to stay at home today as well, but the guys needed some help so went for training too...

more fun today i think, whole day was basically juz pure mentoring, which means no lectures frm the CSO's or anything, juz going in our groups n familiarising ourselves... also, went out in small groups today, me n mindzi, with 4 juniors with us... much prefer small groups, easier to talk to ppl i feel...

tt Marcus was in my grp... actually he not so bad... pretty pro, caus he worked at SATS before as well...

highlight of the day was lunch... we had it at the Fish & Co in the airport... actually was a bit reluctant, caus v. ex, but since everyone wanted to go, so i tagged along....

there we were served by several interesting staff.... one guy was the manager i think, he made those alcoholic cocktails or wateva, tossing the colouful bottles around.... pretty neat to watch...he asked us what we did in the airport.... always hav trouble answering tt one...

everyone besides me ordered fish n chips, but most ordered New York fish n chips.... i joked tt New York fish n chips had a flag or smth stuck in them, n when the dishes arrived, true enough, tt's wat it was...

best part was, our water was refilled by this super-super-cute waitress, got a cute dog at home, but she's much cuter... she looked smth like ms seah, but much nicer n funnier... when it came time to pay the bills, our reciept didn't match wat we thought was the price of the food... so we counted a lot of times...

she joked "one of you're muz stay back n help the cook wash dishes liao... our cook will be glad to have you...". damn... i shld hav volunteered, then can stay there longer...

after we left the restraunt, me n my fren suddenly tok bout the waitress at the same time... we decided to ask another guy to get the no. for us.... later found out, she didn't want to giv to him... she wanted us to go ourselves...

tot bout it of the rest of the day, but decided to come back sum other time.... juz hope she still there...
