Deutschland, where legends are born
it begins tml... the worlds biggest and most important soccer event... so what do we know about
Allianz Arena in MunichGermany, engineering haven, home to biggest luxury automobile brands in the World. Mercedes Benz, BMW, Volkswagen and Audi. They had the panzer tank, V2 rocket and the first jet fighter in WWII... Germany has produced many great scientists and mathematicians too, Einstein who was a German Jew is probably to most famous among them. Not forgetting musicians like Mozart...much more they have provided the world with, it takes a bit of looking to find it though, as the germans are
Germany the land where highways have no speed limits and the world famous street race track Nurunburg Circuit, has claimed numerous lives throughout the world.
smth i love about the WRC is how approchable and down to earth the rally drivers are... even they got into the spirit of the world cup, and the drivers from various world cup countries held a mini table-soccer tournament... the winner was spain, won by Junior world rally champ Carlos Sainz...
so heres who i think will do well in the world cup:
reach the finals: germany, brazil, netherlands
semi finals: england, argentina
quaterfinals: spain, france, australia, czech
going home early: japan
no idea: italy, portugal
think germany could win the cup, given they are playing on home ground... but mayb they not as gd as teams of previous generations... brazil, always favs, but diff to win twice, and pressure is on them... netherlands, most likely i think to win... tt's just a guess of course...
did ya noe, the only german player in starting XI not playing in germany is jens lehman from arsenal... no wonder not so much support... hu watches the bundesliga anyway...
now watching the opening match... got quite a few goals le, 2-1... but the atmosphere is like... zzzz....... ok u scored a goal... the crowd dosent cheer much... nth... not like a normal champions league match or even a premiereship match, where can see and hear the fans cheering, and can feel a bit of the atmosphere, makes watching the match much more exciting...
hope it'll b better in england matches...
Finally, got some time to do a post... just finished a biaing week of e-learning... cheated the last bit for maths... even cheating is hard work ya noe...
lots of dota this week as well, juz 1v1 zhao xi, both of us used razor, he killed me 7-1... actually playing 1v1 i realised his skill at dota is only slightly above mine... but tt slight diff makes a big diff in results, first blood could mean an extra exp and extra gold and time to knock down the first tower resulting in better items...
the diff is that he is slightly clearer on when to attack and when he will win 1v1... mayb will pick tt up with time...
dad came home from dubai today... come back for bout 2 weeks... his been gone since jan, which upon looking back, is pretty long, considering all the stuff i've done since he's been gone... dota at home, the dog, more little stuff...
gd day... n gd world cup to ya'll...
