Under my skin

i've got an itch on my body and it won't go away....... no its not a lyrics of a song or anyth but a real itch...

think i got it when i ate a jellyfish sushi at airport last night..... haiz, wat with the jelly fish being raw and all that. but so far it's never happened before.... mayb they didn't wash it properly or smth....

inside com thje one i using now is very very lagggy..... dunno wats up with it... even as im typing now the words are coming out like so slowly.... wonder if it's got a virus too...

been watching naruto lately on youtube. think its a much better anime than the other one i was watching which is bleach... the characters more belivable and likable than that of bleach, which is like concentrated on fighting only...

rally cant type any more with this lag... unbelievable.

Full Circle

SP at night

WCG DotA at SP

made a desicion to delete dota on sunday, till after exam... hope this will give me more time to study n stuff, as havent been doing too well all sem...

that didnt stop us from playing today though with 1 extra class cancelled... nice to play without lag finally...

highlight of today though was CYA interview.... dennis told me he wanted to join for a while le, so asked him to go for the briefing at the huge SP convention centre.... saw a ex hai sing prefect in the crowd too...

most interesting was seeing a certain J.F... last time during sec 4 days i had to skip recess to do guard duty at some staircases at school... n chief in checking i was on duty was none other than u noe who... haha, so if get to interview her would b seriously fun.... but too bad she got interviewed by someome else...

still though, it does prove tt stuff u dream up can come true..lalala... chao tired... by the time finish it was bout 9pm...

Pirates of Time

zzzzzzzzzz.........zzzzzzzzzzz.............

got a suprise on fri night..... spoke to jas online, he said wq, ql n him going to watch pirates at night.... honestly tio stun.... but nvm... can't go anyway... haha... sian, now i muz go n search for ppl to watch with me...

today had to go for the S2006 IMF training, at SP... i think our IMF thing is pretty cool. cooler than norm CYA duty even... they got give suits, and pay us $35 for 5 hours of duty a day... get to meet those delegates..... cool sia... good pay, time to do other stuff after work too...

the IMF training conducted by singapore tourism board, the duties are similar to our regular CYA duty..... so when they brief us bout the airport facilities n stuff, quite weird...haha. even though couldn't go for the HSC open house today, juz take today training as outing lor... haha... dun take it as pirates stealing time....

oh, fri night our team finally managed to beat eug aka G.o.P on dota... i think merc, ql n jas noe... he v. qiang... v. v. qiang...

Bonjour...Monsieur Zidane

reflecting on the world cup finals tt i watched, to see Zidane head butting the italian defender is pretty shocking, and pretty sad too to see him get sent off on his last match... he was my favourite player in France 98 pc game, my first soccer game.

the way he walked away after headbutting the guy, made it look like he just stabbed him or smth... his whole expression, like he really wanna kill the guy.

anyway, on to happier things, the maths test i was studying for got full marks! finally, after doing none to well for my other tests, i finally got one tt was good... haiz... i think time for me to wake up le... too much dota, n gd results have made me complacent i think...

i decided to go easy on dota till the holidays........ a bit sian of it already, but i noe u can't juz quit dota....

next, i was having a bit of a problem, as im going to NZ after my hols to visit my dad, till 7 of september... however, there is the final breifing for the IMF world bank summit thingy i'm taking part of as part of CYA... it was 1 whole day, n not sure wat the head of CYA would say if i said i can't go.... at first, she a bit grumpy bout it, but luckily she say she excuse me from it... HURRAH! enjoy my hols freely, Thank u Lord...

lastly is the WCG dota competition is being held in my school again, just the prelim rounds only, but they show the matches live, and got 2 commentators of dota which had appeared in the Straits Times... even if i slowing down on dota, nice to learn how other ppl play.... woohoo...

The Curtain Calls

was invited by xuan yong to go for a cosplay event this morning, quite a suprise caus it was pretty sudden. it was raining n drizzling all morning, but no matter.

the event was held at the D' Marquee at downtown east, all being ex-Haisians, i'm sure i dun need to explain where that is. so we entered the D'marquee to be greeted by the "biggest" cosplay event in Spore each year... to say the truth it wasn't v. big... ok only... as u expect, cosplayers everywhere, from most of the popular anime n manga now. the emcee's car, was a white FC3S, from Initial D, was at the entrance.

bleach was the most popular anime for the cosplay, with one team having over 30 in a team... but i think the highlight of our show, was the Yurichi characters clothes, which was backless, v. hot. ask wq, he was there.

the gundam seed cosplayers were v. dissapointing, their skits being totally uninteillgable...

after the event left for church, saw sarah chan at the mrt... same old sarah, looks the same in and out of uniform...

was tapped by marilene after church, while going down the escalator too... she asked if i watched the germany portugal match... i was like... WTH! they play already ah?

for the record, i support germany n i don't noe the final score of that match, and i'm watching in on tv now... 2-0 their leading... guess who's in the crowd, a major champion himself, 8 times Formula 1 champion, Michael Shumacer...

for tonights match, the final, FRANCE VS ITALY, for me is pretty unexpected. my earlier posts put france as going home early, and italy unkown... while i guessed holland, brazil and germany for the final....

most of the people i 've met, support italy tonight, but for me, i'll b supporting france to win... thats caus my first soccer game was France 98, which i played during sec1, and england n france were my fav teams... dun really like italy, their colours or their players...

One step higher

for the past week been having lots of practices for the CYA graduation night on fri.... every other day will go airport practice the skit for bout 4-5 hours, pretty fun, but saps a lot of time from studying and projects too...

the skit is about a bad CYA turned good, which was pretty interesting and fun to watch as the plot evolved and the characters changed... also a dance item thingy and a few songs at the end...

although we practiced a lot, up to the last day, was still a bit unsure of the dance steps n my lines n stuff, but at the last min, everyone was encouraging each other and i think we did a good job... even better, the audience thought it was great, so guess the practice was well worth it...

also while working with everyone, got to spend more time with the others... on that day also got to see many of the old Fri CYAs who had finished their contracts in jan... now reflect back, tt's a pretty long time le...

Blind Justice

this afternoon, i was called upon to do a most unpleasant task, a task which taught me a lot, but which i refuse to ever do again. the task of refreeing.

my class was playing another class in soccer. i was there with some of my friends to support my class. somehow, the organizer convinced me to be the match refree for the game, and it's a desicion i really regret.

Refreeing is tough, especially when it's your class tt's playing... when desicions go right, the players feel it's expected. when there's some confusion, they say the refree is not doing a good job. players from both sides call out fouls every other second.

if you give your team a free kick, the other class thinks your biased. when you give the other team a free kick, your class thinks ur betraying them... whats more the soccer pitch had no proper outlines, only marked by one miserable football.

i was even "fortunate" enough to have to make a desicion about a ball which had fallen in front of my class goal post. not fun, trust me.

they want you near the ball, to see whats happening, but when they get the ball n start dribbling, they say you are in their way.

final score, my class won 4-3, one from a free kick i awarded. lucky for me. if not i dun need go schl tml le...

really gotta admire the guts of those world cup refree... really takes guts to potentially piss off millions of ppl.

next time if ur out of job, work mac donalds. dun consider refreeing.
