Blind Justice

this afternoon, i was called upon to do a most unpleasant task, a task which taught me a lot, but which i refuse to ever do again. the task of refreeing.
my class was playing another class in soccer. i was there with some of my friends to support my class. somehow, the organizer convinced me to be the match refree for the game, and it's a desicion i really regret.
Refreeing is tough, especially when it's your class tt's playing... when desicions go right, the players feel it's expected. when there's some confusion, they say the refree is not doing a good job. players from both sides call out fouls every other second.
if you give your team a free kick, the other class thinks your biased. when you give the other team a free kick, your class thinks ur betraying them... whats more the soccer pitch had no proper outlines, only marked by one miserable football.
i was even "fortunate" enough to have to make a desicion about a ball which had fallen in front of my class goal post. not fun, trust me.
they want you near the ball, to see whats happening, but when they get the ball n start dribbling, they say you are in their way.
final score, my class won 4-3, one from a free kick i awarded. lucky for me. if not i dun need go schl tml le...
really gotta admire the guts of those world cup refree... really takes guts to potentially piss off millions of ppl.
next time if ur out of job, work mac donalds. dun consider refreeing.
