hi. i know i havent been updating for a while. can't really claim to be busy. more like playing dota.
CYA Camp
Last Fri to Sat had a CYA camp for the new 6th batch CYA's after school. The seniors spent about 2 days going back like 9pm to help plan n be briefed about the event, not to mention the planning committee which probably spent weeks planning this. rmbr the NPCC sec 1 orientation camp? we also spent a lot of time doing it up, but it was fun right? even though tiring...
i think the camp was a pretty big success, caus it was fun, everyone was involved and we got to meet the new batch as well as work closer among ourselves. so that the gap between the 2 senior batches will minimise. most camps i wanna leave as quickly as possible, but this one didn't.
my new duty day Monday got a lot of ppl from hai sing. besides me n dennis, there's 1 gal from hai sing prefects which i recognise as well as 1 ji siao guy raphael who according to him, drives batt hong crazy. 4 out of 11 is a lot u think? many stay east side too.
other characters are franko from MJ and jerelyn frm 4E6.
the camp had the usual mix of ice-breaking games, amazing race, role play, skit presentation etc.... but all at a slack n comfortable pace. the particularly fun ones were double Wacko, where all the hai sing ones somehow gang up to aim me, n i had to depend on my parnter to save me... luckily he's good at names, if it's me alone, i'll probably be the one doing the wacking all the time...
another one was amazing race, which the seniors set up in the middle of the night, from 12-6... as the stations were place all over the school, as u can guess it was pretty exciting. especially at the school of business where i went to help out. after setting up the station, i asked the other seniors that i wanted to walk the legendary red bridge of SP... if not like will regret it for the rest of my life...
somehow i managed to convince them to accompany me to walk across the bridge... seriously, it is a very dark bridge even though it's open air... but with 7 ppl crossign with torches, somehow not that scary le... but still fun though. =)
during the Treasure Hunt, my station was the one involving the inevitable waterbombs. but since we r such a nice n gentle club, we dun throw waterbombs at the juniors. instead the game involves tossing waterbombs around using towels and trying to collect a certain amount. in this way, whether they get wet or not depends on their own teamwork. fair right?
Thursday
thursday as i believe was the start of the A levels. the night before i sent a msg to those ex haisians in JC. one reply came back from kevin aka chee kong, saying something like "Tanx... and see you soon..."
i think he also didn't expect how soon it would be. at about 5 on thursday, juz as my train reached pasir ris, he was standing outside the door. haha. b careful wat u sms.
next week is e-learning week for me, so i'll b able to go out if anyone is tired of studying.
